I didn't come into recruitment through a job board or a graduate scheme. I came through twenty years of being inside organisations — building teams, managing performance, designing engagement strategies, and navigating every challenge that comes with leading people at scale.
My career has taken me across industries that most recruiters have only read about — Television and Radio, Manufacturing, Banking and Finance, Shipping, Automobile, D2C Consumer Brands, and Back Office operations.
What I learned — through every successful placement and every near-miss — is that great recruitment is never about matching keywords on a CV to a job description. It's about understanding people.
I started Tekton Consulting because I saw a gap in the market: businesses settling for mediocre recruitment because they didn't know another way existed.
